Company for Christmas

Merry Christmas from Misha and Sebastian! The big day finally came - Grandma Kate and Uncle Bud arrived yesterday! Next will come Tanya and Aaron, and next week Ashley (Bud's girlfriend) will join us too!

Josh tried to be modest when introducing his brother to his little son, but it's hard when one's son is so adorable. Bud and Sebby bonded right away. And Misha sticks to his uncle like glue. (Stick to my glue, my darling...)

Grandma Kate and Sebastian had a happy reunion too. :)

We started right in on the winter fun by taking Bud to a nearly-three-hour ice skating session.

Misha laces up and zips up.

Bud, Josh, and Misha on the ice.

You've still got it! Misha learned to skate last winter, and not only does he remember how, but he has gotten even faster.

Josh and Misha zoom around.

Misha and I do a loop.

Meanwhile, we celebrated Sebastian's six-month birthday on the 20th with a bowl of baby cereal, known as kasha in our house. “Are you sure he can eat already?" Misha asked me when I told him Sebastian was going to have some kasha. "He still looks like a baby.” It was a rather messy process, especially because Misha wanted to help feed his brother a few bites.

At first Sebby was more interested in eating his bib.

A typical "before" shot ...

... and "after" or possibly "somewhere in between."

He can stand up pretty well, but needs a little help getting there.

Wow--Misha looks like he's moving right along on those skates. And where are the pictures of Kate? :)
